Die "Pissed Monks" formierten sich um die Jahrtausendwende in Bischofshofen. Die wohl größten Erfolge der Band waren ein Auftritt als Support für den 2002 verstorbenen Ramones-Bassisten Dee Dee Ramone und der Finaleinzug im Austrian Band Contest 2001, der immerhin ein Konzert vor 4000 (!)
